Hal's Amateur Radio – VE1LV

Good morning everyone.
Sorry for the delay on the email blast.
Was on the go since early yesterday morning as the WestCumb ARC and Cumberland REMO traveled to Collingwood NS to install a amateur radio station at their new Fire Hall. After that was completed we heading back to Amherst just in time for the regular WestCumb ARC club meeting. Pictures of the install will be on the WestCumb ARC website hopefully later today. MARITIME AMATEUR UPDATE
Progress continues on S.M.A.R.T. 2018. The schedule has been completed and the organizing group will get together son to go over things. Once that is done the schedule will be on the website.  Keep checking the SMART webpage for updates.
The WestCumb ARC has purchased a Bridge Pass to give as a door prize to PEI amateurs who attend SMART 2018. This is to try and attract more amateurs from the Island and to offset cost of attending the event. Each amateur is to bring their bridge pass dated Apr. 27th or 28th write their name and call sign on the back of it and drop it in the box that will be at SMART. The draw will take place later in the day.
If any other club would like to donate any door prizes to the event (Gas Cards etc.) get in touch with me ASAP.
The NSARA contest will take place this Sunday March 4th. Details can be found on the NSARA website.
